Hero checks, CO bets $0.22, BTN folds, Hero raises to $0.64, CO calls $0.42
Turn: ($1.68) 4
(2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.78, Hero raises to $3.91, CO calls $3.09 all in
River: ($9.42) 8
(2 players - 1 is all in)
So my thinking pre-flop was the villian was definitely positionally aware with his CO opening range of 30%. The button called so I felt I could enter a 3-way pot with my 5
6
I check-raise the flop with the intention of throwing him of his hand if he missed the flop and was just performing standard c-bet.
The turn paired the board and I checked again, hoping for a free river card. He bet and I raised all-in trying to represent a full-house, I felt it was believable I could've called preflop with pocket 10's or 7's.
My straight fell on the river and the villian flipped over pocket aces!! Was it a bit of a donk play on my behalf? I had reasons for my play but just happened to hit the very top of his range lol!!
