what is your point?

Not a very good way to start off your membership here. The thread title states it all. He wants to know if its a good line. Maybe offer some advice or make a constructive post next time.

Why bet the river?

Cause I don't belong at cash tables lol.

No, I guess I figured after the x behind ott, it was a flopped pr or an 8x/88 which gives me some value. Ax probably flats, which is bad. And if I'm crushed he raises and I'd fold.

Random fact I have played alot of hands with shamrogue and I seem to remember cpt.
Just in case you keep playing these games I can tell you that sham is a huge rock and never stacks off with anything below KK 100bb deep I think I have run KK into his AA like 4 times and vice versa.

I don't think you beat enough he calls with on the river. In fact, I think the river is a ch/f because the only think he really bets on the river are hands that beat you and a few bluffs. Problem is there are very few bluffs he checks back on the turn. He can certainly play 88 like this but I doubt he calls the river with it.

I don't like the call on the flop. I don't play 6 max but don't see 8s raising an oesd here. Villains line seems standard set trying to protect against the flush.

Noted. Thanks.

Good point. I didn't mean that to read that I had any value from 88 or OESD there.

Only reason I flat the raise otf (not that it's correct) is that his f3B was 83 and there was a decent amount of combos I wanna keep in the hand imo.

What does his fold to 3 bet have to do with anything? Reraising would be foolish in this spot. His stats aren't that spewy to make me think he's bluffing here. Those are pretty solid 6 max stats, no? I just fold the flop and look for a better spot. I think the river is a check and hope he checks behind. I just wanna get to showdown without putting more money in.
