Hes mostly gonna have QJ or flushes , hes a nit so when nits bet they have it like 95% of the time so its a fold there.

Should you not have raised the turn?

I also think that raise on the turn is better option than call, because you don't have initiative on the turn and river. His a donkbet is very big, I wonder what does it mean...
Maybe he is afraid of something like flush draw? IMO he doesn't call suited cards pre flop. So his range is something like: 33, QJ, AJ. Finally, I fold the river.

Raise turn, call river. Your range is pretty off.I've seen it in a lot of your posts, and I know it's a more difficult area of your game to work on, but even though this guy is tight, his range is going to be more than the nuts or the near nuts.

no way i'm folding there he cant have a flush draw here there no value to bet the turn in a paired board most likely a Qx or a weak J. i'm pushing there.

Bet sizing makes this so polarised. As we know, nits don't bluff.

You played it fine IMO.

John, what range does a weaktight/nitty player bomb two streets with on a dangerous board that we actually beat here(?). I can see a Q sizing turn like that cause the fish is in (I doubt he even concerns himself with that, but whatever). River though? Scared players shut down when the board gets scary and they don't have it, they certainly don't decide to bomb for thin value.

+1

that player had a weak J, his bet sizing doesn't make sense.
i wouldnt shove, but i would definitely call the river.
worst case i'm up against AJ but you would know that if you knew your opponent.

I actually think folding is OK, don't feel this nit is going to be exploiting us in 3-way, 3-bet pots very often. Pretty sure he'll have like the 4 combos he's repping (AKss, QQ) almost all the time.

AhTh, AQ to name a couple, and that's more combos of 33/AJ,QJ (which likely isn't in his range often) getting 2:1 for it to be a profitable call.
