$4 NLHE 6-max: JJ Facing preflop 3 bet and reraise

I made a basic bot sized raise preflop got a pretty tiny 3bet so I called intending to just set mine. When the flop comes low and the preflop 3bettor checks I think that he probably has Ax and value bet/try to collect the dad money. Now as for the reraiser I don't think he ever flat preflop with QQ+ which is pretty much all that beats me here. Easy reraise right?

Yea I think AK and 77-TT could possibly call, these guys were playing 63/4 and really passive. I also want to get some added protection to my hand because overcards hit so often.

He's pretty damn passive (assuming your sample size is decent) to be raising those hands.

it might just be me, but who else here is up for 4betting preflop?

if you are calling to set mine, then why do you start betting for value later? isnt that a contradiction?

whether its a good idea or not, i know if i was playing this hand I would have done it. but then again, i would probably have raised to .10 preflop at least, so who knows what would have changed.

True but I was set mining against the sb raise. Once he checked I no longer thought he had QQ+ and I thought button would have 4bet preflop if he had a hand like that.

None of these guys were really aggressive and hadn't 4bet ever(only about 100 hand sample) so i didn't really wanna 4bet them because i didn't want to get it in preflop
