My first hand of the table so no real reads on villain's playstyles. I dont know too much about villains but JJ is a great hand in 6max so I raise it up and get called by 2 players.

I dont like this flop much since there is a flush draw and 2 overcards and villains could be playing with any queen or Ace. SB min bets which tells me that villain did not hit the flop but BB's call could be a sneaky play. I think villain could be doing this with a queen and is afraid of the Ace so I decide to play it safe and control the pot with a call.

The turn card gives me the second nut flush, the only card beating me being the King of diamonds. I feel that I have the best hand here so I bet and get called by one player.

The river pairs the board but I did not put villain on a 5. I was suprised by villain's bet on the river since villain was quite passive beforehand but I felt villain could do this with a weaker flush since there is only one card that beats me and since this is 6max, any villain could think their flush is good. Should this be a fold due to villain's different aggression on the river compared to previous hands?

I'd have probably waited till the river to bet my jack as I'm not expecting to get more than one street of value from worse and have the chance to keep the pot small.
You get value from 88 this way but I think it'll be pretty rare based on the flop action.

As played the river is close. You would have to be a complete moron to donk worse flushes here but looking at villains stack size he may well be. That and 88 is very rare and Kx has had ample oppurtunity to play more aggressively prior to now.
I call, very close but we only need to be ahead 30% of the time. (my original post argued a fold).
