You had better 2pairs out there, but probably not a broadway straight (no PFR) and the flush being hard to see as a two-outer. It was unlikely you were against a set so it wasn't the worst call, but if villain hit his A8 you're still burnt.

When you check the BB on a poor hand like 10 5off, you need to be able to let it go including slowing down when an opponent makes a big 14BB call on the turn.

Be hesitant to put your entire buy-in on 2pair unless you're up against a bully.

Well a flush draw arrived and you just ignored the possibility that your opponent may have called the turn because he picked up a flush draw. I would have bet 30-40% pot which lets him call with his weaker hands, takes away his bluffing opportunities and gives you room to fold to a shove. You just pot committed yourself in the end. Ask yourself what hands he was going to call such a big river bet with thats worse than your hand.

Agree, should have bet little and not overbet the pot at river.
