Giving the fact that the villain is a nit I would fold or 3-bet here if he is folding to 3-bet often.
The reason is simple and you got it yourself. His range from MP is probably crushing us. Good hands to play against him IP are suited connectors and pocket pairs. Hands that you can let go easy.
He is a nit and probably he is also very aggressive with his hands. What kind of board do you think you can make a move on him with AJ?A high? J high. You will have a very hard time of letting it go when he will fire the second bullet on the turn.

You should have folded at preflop since you mention villain is nit.

Above, good fold.

This is standard, especially with villain's stats. This is 99-JJ quite often.

You shouldnt fold on that flop , his unpaired hand range will give up on turn , you should have called his cbet , you have overcard outs and his range probably missed. Also you mentioned he is a nit which means he is less prone to double barrel you.

I see nothing wrong with the call preflop , you have position and actually nits are your best targets when you have position because they give up a lot postflop when their unpaired range miss.

I would have also certainly called villains raise pre flop as we were in position. Since he is a knit i think his c-bet was certainly very strong to lay our hand down. I might have made a float had the bet been a weaker bet and work something out at later streets. It looks like a good fold unless villain had crap and thought you were weak and pulled the trigger.:icon_pira

Yea... you need consistent logic throughout the hand.

Villains sample size is pretty small, but if we are assuming hes only playing A10+ and raising with pocket pairs 99+, then your pre-flop call is questionable.

Some people raise A10 from MP... maybe this guy doesn't though. You do have A10 crushed, you split with AJ, you are crushed by AQ AK, and you are slightly behind 99+.

And you feel like calling. Hmm ok. So then what's your plan on the flop? Only call a bet if you hit a jack? This probably isn't profitable, even if he has a high cbet %.

Float him in position? Again, it depends on his CBet% and if you think you can outplay him. Also, you aren't going to be flopping too much to go off of. Flop an ace and you could be dominated, flop a jack and he may not put too much money in, or still have a higher pair. If this guy is playing straightforward, then he'll never pay you off if you do have a better hand.

So it really depends on your skill and the opponents tendencies here.

So, lol, I agree fully with swingro^^^- 3 bet or fold here pre without knowing too much about villain. Everyone else has given the same sentiment, I hope at least I could supply some continuity behind the logic here.

A fold flop really means a fold pre

nh though, keep playing and posting
