$4 NLHE 6-max: Implied odds to call?

If MP didn't call there was no way I would have called the turn bet but as he did I felt I had odds to call. I didn't think hitting the A or J would win the pot because I figure the BB has trips possibly.

With just the river to come and 9 outs that equals = 18% drawing odds
(If hitting an A or J is added to the flush outs I have = 30% drawing odds which is enough to call on pot odds alone)

I have to call $0.70 into a pot of $2.80 - 0.7/2.80 = 0.25 x 100 = 25% pot odds

Is this the correct math and did I have have correct implied odds to call here?

I wouldn't have raised the flop bet. That way on the turn it's slightly cheaper to see the river just in case you didn't improve.

Looking back I did wonder whether my raise on the flop was the wrong thing to do. I was looking to stay the aggressor as I raised pre-flop and also maybe get a free river card but obviously that failed.
