Yeah im wanting to get my money in quickly here, with it being multiway too and not wanting a heart to come out. I'd bet $2 maybe even a bit more but just a good sized amount that will let us happily get stacks in on the turn, betting half pot here just gives people drawing decent odds to call due to it being multiway. I dont think betting 2.30 here would even deter draw chasers and if you bet 2.30 we would the pot would be like 7 and CO would have around 4.70 left which would be nice to shove.

I think this makes all the difference. Betting a little bit extra on the flop you can set up a shove on the turn which isn't an overshove and so people will be more inclined to call. Shoving $6 into $4.50 or whatever looks like you have a big hand you want to play fast because of the possible flush.
