A fish with vpip over 60 opens early and a better player with around 25/20 flat calles and this gives me the oppurtunity to iso raise the fish. The regualar calles as well so its 3 handed.

Was my flop bet too big. I think I just wanted to see where I was and not give a free card to anyone with one heart. And by the river I was comitted so I called. Was this ok?

I dont mind betting a lot on the flop, it means if no heart comes you can put him in on the turn. When the heart comes I would shut down. Definitely fold the river.

I'd say it's a fold.

He's probably calling this flop with underpairs + a heart, AQ & KQ. All of these beat you other than AQ which probably checks anyway and has you beat 1/3 of the time. As sick as the odds are this is a fold.

hands played fine up until then btw. The fish is always our priority so I don't mind the large bet and the 3bet is solid assuming the fish isn;t a 60/2 or something.
