"Fold pre" is a very valid response, but I'm interested in what people think of the rest of the hand as well. Villain was fairly new to the table (40 hands or so), but had been 3-betting about 12%. VPIP and PFR were higher at the time of this hand, probably more like 25/20 I think.
I had folded to two of his 3-bets already, so felt like getting stubborn (which I admit is a bad reason to get involved in a hand) - but also felt I was a little ahead of his range. Calling oop seemed like a bad idea, which left me with 4-betting. Flop seems like a good one to c-bet after he flats. Turn I actually hit my ten, which made things awkward. I could turn it into a bluff, rep the flush or an overpair, hope he folds a jack. c/c? c/f? I don't like any of my options. So maybe we're back to "fold pre so you don't get into this mess"?
