Villian 72/17...called cbets 50% of time (3/6)...and called turn cbet 100% (3/3)
(only 50 hands on villian- not sure if the call cbet stats are even relevant)

This river bet should really come off strong, but I felt he would also be doing this with any 2 pair as well. He could also be slowplaying a set, although I figured he probably would have raised turn, but who knows. Villian is clearly a fish so I thought his range was pretty wide. What should I have done on river?

I would squeeze out a bit more on the flop and river is a bit tricky because of the big size of his bet. If you think he plays straights and two pairs the same way on the river then your shove looks fine.

I think the hand is very well played however on the river, I think we just call instead of jamming. His PSB looks crazy strong but Im never folding to it esp cause hes a fish. I also agree that he could be doing this with worse 2P and honestly with a fish this big it wouldnt surprise me if he had like a AXs and missed a flush as Ive seen it many times.

In terms of the stats you provided, the VPIP/PFR is probably accurate with respect to the sample size however the FtoCbet should be around 100+ before we can begin to determine whether this is a leak in the players game or not. Also, the turn FtoCbet is around 1000+ however maybe someone can confirm that.

yeah, at the time I think I was thinking "screw it I barely have anything behind if I call my as well jam"....this is clearly not the way to be thinking.

As for the cbet stats, I figured they weren't very valuable with the limited number of hands and honestly didn't even look at the stats at the time. Probably wasn't even worth mentioning.

Anyway, thanks to both of you for the replies. I wasn't sure if my logic was right and thinking that he could still have plenty of hands that I beat even with the strong bet just because of how fishy he seems.
