Previous history with Villain recently spewed 3 streets against me with air in 200bb pot. I've been calling him down more light due to his aggro nature. I'm pretty sure he would 3bet AK, possibly JJ and more likely flat TT. Most Pobably A low Ax Diamonds. I've no issue with the fold on the paired board river it's my bet sizing on the Flop and Turn Call. Maybe bigger Flop raise, could we find a fold on the turn consider villains tendencies?

On the flop, yes you had the nuts, but you do have to give consideration to the draw. I would have raised it to 6 or 6.5 big blinds, maybe up to pot, to discourage the draw, and if they decide to continue, charge them for looking.

Turn, with the diamond, I'm not sure if I would have checked behind but would have given it consideration. To me, the check raise screams flush... so you would need to ask yourself how likely is it he would bluff. Yes, it's in his repertoire based on what history you gave, but is it rare he goes for the bluff, or have you seen him do it several times. What is the chance he has Ax with A of diamond and is semi bluffing? Would need to look at his range of hands he would check raise.

Raise more on the flop. At least 15-16bbs. As played, opponent cold calling a bet and a raise, he's obv on a draw. If he had 89, you'd figure he'd re-raise the flop considering he's spewed into you in the past. So considering all of that, the turn min-check raise should be a fold. Tough to do in the moment against a spewtard.
