1. why did you x the turn?

I think you should bet the turn. Theres no reason to think we dont have the best hand. Because of his numbers we can assume he is calling 3bs quite wide even in these positions. We beat a lot of hands still like QQ, draws, TT, JJ if he floats with those.

On the river i would call mostly because only QT, Jx, and 99 beat us and most of the draws/overcards missed. Also a pot sized bet by this kind of player after you x back the turn is quite often a bluff. If we shove the river im not sure we get called by enough worse hands to make it profitable.

Im glad you raised really big preflop, much more than standard. This type of player will call big 3bets with lots of hands so you did a good job getting more value.

I thought the turn would be 9. That's pretty bad for his peeling range. Bet again the 8 doesn't effect much.

I do not know why I did not bet the turn. Maybe I just scared by his range.

Anyway I called and he shows QT.

should I bet more preflop

You did pre and flop fine, def shouldn't have checked turn as others have stated. Just happened to get ul that he had QT here. Don't be results oriented and focus on losing the hand, be more focused on playing correct poker and letting the results then speak for themselves in the long run.
