Just joined this 6 max table. Villain was not very active and I only have 25 hands on him in my HUD. I have just begun 6max and I feel as though I lost my confidence in this session. I need all the cash game guys to give me your thoughts please.

Bigger 3bet size OOP, make it 35 or even 40.

Larger bet on the flop, its extremely wet. 70% pot minimum.

Calling the turn raise is fine, but folding would be fine as well. Lots of hands could be semi bluffing here like 78 or QJd KQd, even some club draws. Its possible villain has 97s, the small flop bet might have encouraged them to chase the gut shot. Id have expected villain to raise sets and 2 pairs on the flop though given its so wet, so your really only behind to 97 and 88. ( unless they have some weird 2 pair combo like 68s)

River fold is fine, literally everything gets there with the 7d. The only thing you are ahead of is a missed club draw the bluff raised the turn.

Blair29, Thanks,

I definitely should have 3bet larger, being out of position.

Terrible flop bet in my opinion. You're giving villian 3:1 odds to call.
I'd recommend you book up on bet sizing, you're pre-flop bet was too small as well.
Bet on the turn was okay, you could fold/call here in my opinion.
Definite fold on the river. I think he has a set, or had KdJd or some high card flushes.
He's not bluff much here, especially since you 3bet pre-flop and bet flop and turn.
