$3000 NL HE Full Ring: AK turns trips on an all broadway board

I'm going through some interesting hands from the past few months posted on other forums that I wanted additional feedback from different people on, here's the 2nd of the bunch

10/25 NL

Effective Stacks $5000

No real reads on villain. This is the first time we've played with him, although we did see him make a large raise on the flop (enough to put a shorter stacked player all in) with a flush draw on one hand

We open to $125 with AKo in EP and receive 3 callers.

Flop: A

The flop isnt really the greatest for our hand although we did hit, but being first to act we bet $275. Caller 1 and Caller 2 both call, last player folds

Turn: A

This is kind of a trick card here. It doesnt improve our hand if we were behind on the flop (unless villain has QT) but it appears to strengthen our hand. Im pretty convinced the last caller is on a flush draw and that the original caller some kind of made hand. I don't really know if I should bet or check here. I like betting to protect against hearts, but outside of that Im not worried about a broadway card dropping since it'll either make me a straight or give me the top boat. I think that outside of hearts Im probably WA/WB and betting should push out most hands I beat except maybe AJ. I don't really wanna fold, but I can't really stand up to a raise too much either so I wind up checking and trying to play some pot control. Caller 1 bets $700 and Caller 2 immediately folds. We call

River 4

We check, villain bets $1550

we.....

Did we misplay earlier streets? What do we do here? Can we beat anything but a bluff or is villain disillusioning himself into thinking he can value bet AJ / Ace rag here

I don't have a good idea for what typical play is like at live (this is live, yes?) NL at these stakes, but assuming it somewhat similar to online midstakes... If I did my sums correctly, he's betting $1550 into a ~$2.5k pot on the river. The hands that beat us are KJ, AQ, AT, A4, TT and QQ. Assuming all of them are in his preflop range, that comes out to about 30 combos, which is a decent bunch. But if we think A4 is in his range, then obviously a whole slew of other aces are in his range also, and I see no reason why he wouldn't valuebet e.g. AJ or A9 on the river when you've shown very little strength. Getting ~ 2.5:1 this needs to happen only ~35% of the time. Throw in the possibility of him bluffing (e.g. missed heart draws or JT turned into a bluff) with the combos of aces that probably would bet this river and I think it's a call. Not a fistpump call by any means, but definitely a call.

Oh, and readless, I like how you played the hand. Playing it wa/wb is my preferred line against unknowns with this kind of hand on this kind of board.

Yea this is live and yea I'd relate typical live 5/10 through 10/25 games as similar to mid stakes online games (2/4 through 5/10)
