Villain (CO) in this hand is extremely loose before and on the flop, but very passive. Can bet a flopped pair, but only if no one else raised preflop. Will raise with very strong hands on the river (like the set of treys he hit on the river against my top pair in an earlier hand). Doesn't go to showdown with nothing, but will stay in with anything that resembles a draw.

Pre-flop: (5 players) FPaulsson is UTG with [Ah] [Js]
FPaulsson raises, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: [7d] [Qd] [Jc] (7SB, 3 players)
SB checks, FPaulsson bets, CO calls, SB calls.

Turn: [Tc] (5BB, 3 players)
SB checks, FPaulsson bets, CO calls, SB folds.

River: [7h] (7BB, 2 players)
FPaulsson checks, CO checks.

I bet the turn to protect against some stray king that might outdraw me. I check the river because CO either has a busted draw, a queen, a jack or a seven. I can only beat a worse jack and I consider betting a bad idea, to the point where it may almost be safe to fold if CO bets.

Good?

I wish I could give a thorough answer to LHE hands but I'm an absolute NOOB with the game.

The hand looks perfect to me (whatever that means to you); you bet for info/value when you hit, and checked on a not-so-safe river. I think that OP is either holding onto a weak queen or jack, or maybe even an underpair (like 99). You mentioned that he called down with 33 only to spike a set on the river vs. your TP; maybe he's doing the same here?

Looks perfect to me also. Can't see anything I would have done differently. I think he may have T9 or KT, or he could of course have the flush draw. Although you say he's a calling station so his range is pretty big.

thats about the only way you can play it. I think sometimes you can make a very thin value bet on the river, but vs this opponet I think you played it close to perfect. I think you beat his K10 and he might have called a value bet on the river.
