Villian is 50/0/.5 but only over 6 hands so no reliable reads at this point.

The villian only called the turn bet, should I value town the river or just check it behind to save when he has a baby flush?

SB: $4.88 (244 bb)
BB: $4.99 (249.5 bb)
UTG+2: $1.63 (81.5 bb)
MP1: $5.01 (250.5 bb)
MP2: $2.96 (148 bb)
MP3: $0.97 (48.5 bb)
Hero (CO): $5.94 (297 bb)
BTN: $2.90 (145 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is CO with 8

4 folds, Hero raises to $0.14, BTN folds, SB calls $0.13, BB folds

You might be good here but this is not a hand I would ever bet on the turn. I would make a tiny value bet with a king and fold to big check-raise. Here I check behind. With more than one opp. your hand is usually worthless.

Check the river with the possible 2nd-best hand. If you value bet, it gives him a chance to check-raise you with the nuts OR a total bluff. King is too likely.

General rule: In position, check behind if you have showdown value but would throw up if he check-raises. Here you can beat a lot, including two pair, sets but there's no way your hand can stand a reraise.

check turn here imo, you do know any king beats you right?

as played check river, but im nitty, and at 2nl people will probably call down lighter, so a bet may actually be better

Check here. Your hand isn't actually that strong. Any flush or K has you beat and even if they don't have you beat, you would very likely fold to a large check-raise.
