i would fold. AK always looks sweet in your hand but it looses allot of pots. with that many people in the pot you are probably up against a pair or 2. but of course the more in the pot, the more you could win. but i would fold and wait. but i am more of a trapper anyway

I like the call here, it's 2nl, they could have anything, and its obv you have the best hand in this situation

Drunken rant?

In my view AK is over played, and i would try to keep from playing as much as you can. Un less you can see the flop cheap that would help.
Even to an allin i would tend to fold them, thats my view on AK hope it helps.

This is Stars though, why on earth would you begin to fold AK? An A or K spikes the flop 90% of the time, so at this point he's a clear 90% favorite to win! Like I said, easy call/push to make

I have pushed with AK and lost and got trapped on KK, what if one of them has AA or KK

Fold. Too many others in the pot. Another way to look at AK is high card. Its actually behind against most pocket pairs and the more people in the pot the worse your odds are.

In regards t your question I would fold. Just to many people. I would move as a short stack here but you have chips so just fold.

Since it was a CC 2NL game every one where playing like a maniac.
Avg pot was 3-7$ and avg stacks around 20$(and the big stacks around 50$ )

I say shove it (the AK of course), they are all a bunch of donks, imo

Personally I would usually fold AKs unless I was feeling pretty lucky here. Mostly because in the past day I've had kings against pocket aces twice and I've learned to respect a preflop shove a bit. If the table is excessively loose I might make the call but thats a rare instance.

The main reason I make the laydown is that alot of your outs for AK are probably already used up somewhere. Even if this is a ridiculously loose table its likely atleast some of them have A-Q or A-J or maybe even AK if they are lucky that being said AK is a massive favorite against those hands (except the other AK which might split the pot or just use up all your outs and and both of you end up with nothing) and you'd want to make the call.

But at least one of those players probably has pocket pair of some kind either big or small. If its a big pair like aces or kings your totally dominated and if its a small pair we can't really assume its a coin flip because so many of your outs are probably used up.

For me I just don't see the guys on the end calling without a big hand, like atleast pocket queens even at this limit. But I have been wrong before and will be wrong again.

However if your feeling lucky and wanna gamble for your share of a nice pot I could definitely see a call though

I would probally fold this hand AK just like people say just like Anna Kournikova good to look at but terrible in play. back to the point about folding, there is just to many people involved in the hand one of those donks would probaly hit a straight 4 on the board or slop out to pairs with 7-5 10-8 so fold
