This is a very awkward spot. What should I do here after taking the line I took on the flop? Better yet where do you think the villain is at?

Don't fold two pair at 2$ NL unless there's a 4 straight/4 flush on the board.

Raise the flop. I don't care where villain is at, because his range includes a lot of other kings, 74, K4, K2, random junk. I suppose we can call the turn, since his bet/3-bet is a pretty strong line. However, we're never folding to pretty much any bet, even if this is a set of 4's quite often.

When you hit two pair or better, you should be looking to get all in at 2$ NL unless the board is crazy nasty. Period. This is not optional, and failing to do so is burning money. Raise the flop, and threaten their stack.

Do you think I would get action from a weak king or middle pocket pair if I raise it up on the flop? I was hoping to get another bet out of him on the turn. I guess I'm overthinking it?

At 2NL you are overthinking, yes. When you flop 2 pairs or better, bet for value with bet sizes that allow you to get all-in by the river without betting more than pot on any street and without the need of a villain reraising. Given stack sizes, that means bet close to pot on every street.

push the turn and be incredibly happy about it. he completed the SB at 2nl so this could be basically any weaker two pair. sorry he had a set i guess, but this generally isn't an awkward spot unless winning money makes you uncomfortable
