25NL 6max: AK on paired board vs Turn bet

Villian is bad,57/295 over 40 hands and has yet to fold to a cbet. After he decides to lead out into me on the turn I decide to play it safe and keep the pot relativley small. Is this too weak? Are we willing to stack here against this villian?

Calling the turn is fine, since I'm not willing to bloat the pot, and his range is pretty weak/wide, so he's unlikely to call a raise. However, I do v-bet the river against this 'tard since he'll call with way worse, way often. $6-8 sounds about right, maybe he's got a pocket pair/worse king he can look you up with.

The play looks ok to me. Maybe a little too conservative but that's open to debate. I probably would have played it the same way, maybe a bigger bet on the flop though.

Agree with everything above, especially the value bet on the river. I don't think he's checking a 9 or KJ here.
