sooo I'm being a little loose, trying to a little something different. villian has not been in any hand with me and only a couple so far, so id put him on the tight side

im 27% VP$IP at this point and had QQ last hand, raised to a $1 and everyone folded.

i have been betting at pretty much any flop I get to so remember that for the flop decision.

Well, if you've got a loose image and have been betting flops, then theoretically you've got to do the same here to be consistent, especially with the flush draw there.

On the other hand, I don't know how much people pay attention. I've made "call me" bets after always betting 2/3 pots and people oblige.

Ya, the 'do as you always do' thing applies perfectly here if your opponents are observant enough to have noticed your aggression. There are also some straight and flush draws out there, so I'll just lead here.

I agree, lead out with whatever your typical bet has been. This is what makes the LAG style work, getting people to think you never have much so that when you do have something they don't believe you and you get paid off.

PFL_DBA_MAN :) , you have to lead out if that's what you've been doing, I have to agree with the guys above. It's not the greatest thing to do, cause villain will rarely call/raise with the A on the board unless he has the 4th one or some kind of draw (or ideally a set). But if you don't stick to what you've been doing it won't look right, so if he folds you can't blame yourself. It's not always the worst result though. Tonight I hit a set of aces on the flop, managed to get all the chips in on the flop on a 2 flush board after being check/raised, and lost to a flush  (he caught it on the turn).

I also think you should stick to betting the same amount you've been leading out with. If it's been pot size bets, then go for it.

now what?

Oh thanks guys, def agree I have to lead out here. This is where I wasnt sure what to do.

PLF_DBA_MAN: bets $1.25
cedriclebg: raises $1.25 to $2.50

He could have something where I can get him to get all his chips in or he is just testing me and my loose image.

Call or raise?

Hardly any draws out there, and his stack is quite low(10$ and there is 7$ in the pot). I would smooth call this and probably check to him on the turn to check-raise him allin there, depending on how large his bet and what the turn card is.

Looks good. Either he's caught something or he thinks you're betting with air.

If he's trying to push you off (some people think a minraise is a proper raise) he may shut down if you call. Hopefully he's got the last ace.

I vote raise him $5 and see if he'll intiate a shove with the rest of his stack.

I don't think he's trying to push you off with a min-raise, I'd say he's trying to build the pot, which is great for us as he's probably hit that flop and now, given the right betting we should take his stack. Make another small raise or flat call and build the pot again with a nice sized bet on the turn, say 1/2 pot.

Looks like hes trying to build a pot with the min-raise, usually a sign of a big hand on nl$25. Go ahead and re-raise, shove if he raises again. Raise to around $4/$5 and progress from there.

For the sake of argument, what would you do if this scenario happens:

You flat call, or min raise that he calls. The turn is 7s

Do you bet out? Do you check / fold to an all in? Do you check / call an all-in?

I'm at work so I will post the rest of the hand tonight when I get home. ty for all the input.

All I say now is that I had a very hard time deciding whether to call or raise with the flush and str8 draws out there. I had really worked this image and now I want to get paid off but also dont want to be sucked out on.

I would definitely re-raise the flop. If he has nothing (as it appears he did, and he's trying to play back at you), you aren't going to get another cent out of him anyway. If he has a strong hand, you want to get the money in now, before a scare card comes that shuts him down. And if he's on a draw, you want to charge him for it. Since you have a loose image (and especially since he has a shorter stack), he will probably go to the felt with a wider range of hands, so try to get the money in as fast as possible.
