With TPGK, I would re-pop it to $3.75 and probably fold to a four bet as that would be way out of line for his current stats and I'd say we are likely beat. I don't like flat calling because he could easily be semi-bluffing on a diamond draw. And if he did hit a set, we're probably going to then lead the turn for more to find out.
If I understand this, your saying that villians stats indicate that he's a passive player, and if this is so then would not a passive player just call the flop bet?
If thats the case, villian's bet tells
me he has 2pr or a set and is willing to go broke on this hand because(IMHO) passive players don't usually go over the top of anothers bet unles they have true strength.
