Villian is very tight in the past 50-60 hands he had only seen 2 flops one was limp folded and the other he won without a showdown in a decent sized pot.

I think I can safely assume he is on a strong hand, JJ+ or AK maybe AQs (although very unlikely with my holding and the flop) with the rediculously tight play up to this point I dont see him raising with much less than this. I have the looser end of a TAG image so far.

How do I play this flop to extract maximum value assuming at worst he has AK at best an over.

well if he is extremely tight as you said, unless he has the case queen he hasnt hit that flop. So id be checking hoping he best with a,k or pock j's or tens, but also we need him to catch up a lot hopefully by him pairing or setting up on the turn. We know he needs runner runner to win unless he has hit a set, therefore i think we need to check to let him catch up on turn

If he's as tight as you say he is, it doesn't seem like you're going to get any money out of him unless he puts it in first. Check call the flop and lead the turn if he bet. If he checks, check again. Fire on the river if checked through both times, then raise away.

Well I think AA/KK are definate possibilities at this point as well, so I am not sure he needs to "catch up" to put some more money in the pot.

I knew he was playing pretty tight going into the hand but I dont have poker tracker so I didn't realize just how tight he was until I got involved in the hand and checked through the hand historys from the table as quick as I could and I am not exagerating how tight he was playing. Either he was incredibly card dead for the last 60ish hands that I was at the table or he was only playing group 1 cards.

I like the check so he can catch up but I had not checked any pots I had reraised and few that I had raised preflop so I opted to put a small bet in to try to induce a bluff here is how the flop went.

so what is my move now its unlikely the 9 helped him any: another small bet, a more standard bet, check call, or check raise?

So how do I get more interest into this thread? do I need to put rigged in the title or just be a loyaler?

Bet sizing threads tend to be a bit boring, dont take it personal.

Id bet 5$ here.

Whats you standard c-betting size on the flop, say you had AK here how much would you bet ? I think that the flop bet looks a little out of place, but its obvious that he has a piece of it. I check the turn and hope that he was floating you on the flop.

typically on this flop I am betting about 4-5 with AK but I always assume no one at the table is paying any attention so I try to play as if I were the typical player at this level. Probably not the best way to play but it seems to pay off at the lower limits.

I did check the turn and villian bet 5.50 at the pot, do I call to try to set up for a river bet without position or reraise here and hope he has a good enough hand to call/come over the top?

Just think about what youve just said. Now you have top set against a "very tight" villian who is betting at the pot. He either in or out now, you can do this a few ways but calling gets no more money in the pot. You can shove, or min-raise and value bet the river.

well thats the thing, this is where I thought I may have made a mistake. I reriased him here 7.50 to 13 total and villian thought for a while and folded I feel like the check raise showed to much strength at this point and with the line I was taking I could call here and check the river expecting another stab at it.
