generally i just fold oop just cuz i hate being out of position but villian in this hand is 47/31/4 and his C-bet is 74%

i wanted him bluffing into me on the flop and thought if i check-raised he was likely done with the hand

with his turn bet what should i do?

should i call this and then call a bet on the river or should i just look to get it in here?

if i just call how big of a bet should i be calling on the river?

I don't play this level, but why not 3-bet him pre-flop? I think we're well ahead of this players range. Just wondering if this would be a leak since I do it at the level's I play now.

At this point I'm raising the turn. He's got a pretty wide range and you have around 20 left in your stack so I wouldn't mind a shove, to get the worse Ax's and draws to call. Not sure if it's exactly optimal against an extremely loose player who would probably be bluffing more often than not, but I'd rather charge him to see one of the many river cards that could complicate my decision.

I think you are way ahead of most of his range. With a PFR of 31% he is raising with any pairs, AX, KX, and anything suited (plus more probably)

With his c-bet% as high as it is I think he's trying to buy the pot. I don't like calling becuase he may be on a flush draw (or a straight with the 89 on the board). If you raise and he has anything you will likely be playing for stacks (TPTK is a tough hand to put all of your money in with).

I think I would have bet out on the flop or check-raised. As played I would probably raise to about $15.

im not sure if i wanna play a 3-bet pot OOP against this guy, i could easily be turning AQ into a bluff right there (although i do agree that im miles ahead of his PFR range)

the thing im mainly concerned with here is should i be playing for stacks against this guy with only TP good kicker?

Why don't we want more of villian's money in the pot while we are ahead? Is it because we are OOP?

Wow, in that case I'd 3-bet PF all day. You're definitely not turning AQ into a bluff if he's calling you with 25% of hands.

I'd be betting or check/raising on the flop, never check/calling. You crush his range, but I don't want him to suck out or be able to get away because a scare card comes. I'd be willing to get it all in on the flop.

As played, I'm still getting it in on the turn. The 8 only hurts our hand a little bit, and there's a lot of value from shoving into a draw or a weaker ace.

i guess the more i think about it the more i like 3-betting here

if i had done that stacking with TP is a no brainer and of course i expect to be ahead

idk why this hand gave me so much trouble

thanks for the advice guys
