Raise preflop to ~1.50-1.75, makes all your decisions easier. As played, I think enough draws busted where u can call this.

Yeah, you def. need to raise it up PF. As played, it's pretty close so a read would be nice, but I think you can call this. He doesn't have to be bluffing that often, you're getting like 2.5:1, for a call to be right.

Without a read that the opponent is prone to floating and bluffing, I check-fold the turn. Yes, he might have A8 or a draw to your now second pair, but that's tough noogies, because you let yourself play a pot out of position and are now stuck in a bad spot. Save your money.

I would disagree. Villain played like a draw most of the hand and is probably bluffing often enough that calling is +EV.

I agree with dsvw that a read would be helpful. Unless he's very fishy, you only beat a bluff. A7 would be a very thin value bet on his part. If he's solid and not much of a bluffer you can fold. Against an average player, it's probably a call, though more of an odds call. He's going to show up with an 8, maybe a Q high flush draw that paired, or a slowplayed set a decent portion of the time.

So default = call, but with read of tightness = fold.

You can't consistently play for stacks with second pair on a paired board. Besides raising preflop, there are chances to get out of this hand and he needs to take them.
