I'd say yur facing a set or AA/KK here most of the time. With those stats I don't think 2P or ST8 is any worry and obv no FD. Opponent likes his hand so unless you have seen opponent run a big bluff you have to give him credit for having a bigger hand.

I call and reevaluate river. I don't think drawing hands do this too often (usually the bet will be smaller to give them a better price). I expect to see medium pairs here most of the time - if he setted the flop he most probably would go for a ch-r on the turn.

Ya, I call, reevaluate river.

This was my thinking, a set would either get it all in on the flop or check/raise the turn. His bet is just so odd, I rarely see anyone call a raise on the flop and then lead out that big on the turn OoP. Calling that turn basically pot commits me to call any river though doesn't it? If I flat call the turn bet, theres 34.25 in the pot and villain has 12.85 behind.

Didn't see stack sizes - I probably just shove him in then. He's committed with his smaller pocket pairs and we want to charge whatever draws are out there too.

fwiw I see this a lot from hands like KJ on Kxx boards and I'm expecting a marginal made hand here, ie a middle pocket pair most of the time.

I ended up shoving this one and he took awhile and finally called with AJo. Just thought it was a really weird hand altogether. My QQ held.
