MP3: $39.15 (156.6 bb)
CO: $13.70 (54.8 bb)
BTN: $27.15 (108.6 bb)
SB: $15.50 (62 bb)
Hero (BB): $28.15 (112.6 bb)
MP1: $25.15 (100.6 bb)
MP2: $62.30 (249.2 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is BB with 3:heart: 3:club:
MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 folds, MP3 raises to $1, CO calls $1, BTN calls $1, SB folds, Hero calls $0.75, MP1 calls $0.75
Both ~ 100 hands sample.

Flop: ($5.10) 3:diamond: K:spade: T:diamond: (5 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP3 bets $3, CO raises to $12.70 and is all-in, BTN folds, Hero ??

OK, this might be standard but I was wondering while playing this what the optimal line would be. Obv we're calling the shortie shove. But my question is how do we play it against the remaining players ?

Do we shove and take the halfstack headon, or flat his shove ?
Board is kind of drawy but is it justified to do this to get one of the other full stacks in as well ?

MP3 is solid and capable of making folds when necessary at 14/4/2 with cbet% of 50%. MP1 is a 21/0/1 with limp% of 21%.

Cliffnotes: Shove or flat ?

My humble opinion is you have to shove. MP3 looks like a c-bet, might have TP/TK and you probably have to make him commit now in case MP3 or MP1 has a draw and is thinking of gambling here. Even if someone has a better set, I can`t see getting away from this hand. Shove!

Just jam, calling looks too fishy anyways.

Yes a bigger set crossed my mind too, but the shortie pushing was way too fishy to make that a fold.

And anyways are we ever folding sets ? I imagine not.

If the board reads A♣ Q♣ J♣ 10♣ 4♦, then you can fold a set of 4's.... maybe.... But yeah, on the flop, never fold sets.

On this flop in a raised pot if you are up against a bigger set so be it. Shove is best since it looks like you are trying to isolate against shortstack.
