Here is 4bet shoving a good play, villian is 23/20/1.3 over 60 hands. Is this a spot to shove, hes off the BB with 60BBs is this a place where we can shove AK?

If he has a decent 3-bet % (like 3+) I raise it to like 8 and call a shove. Although in a vacuum a shove is good here raising to 8 in this spot allows you to 4-bet bluff once in a while. If this is never a bluff then shoving's fine because in this spot you don't want him to shove like 99 thinking he has some FE.

I'd probably jam here and I don't like calling even though you'll have position. The problem with calling is that he can push on any flop and you'll have to fold when you miss. I want to see 5 cards with my AK.

3bet % would be nice, although over 60 hands its probably not going to be that accurate. I dont like flatting for the reasons WV said, and unless your a really competent post flop player then yeah flatting not great imo. I actually like making the 4 bet $8-9 as this looks more like a big overpair most of the time, whereas 4bet shoving sort of turns our hand face up.

so with a villian who has a 3bet% of 3+ its acceptable to get AK in pre flop if he has stats like this villian?

Maybe 3 is a little low, but 4 would be fine. Basically you want to be sure that villain's range is more than KK+, but it shouldn't be a problem if he's a 23/20.

The thing is, AK is not just a good hand in itself, it also removes half the possible combos of AA and KK, so if villain's range is JJ+, it's actually made of 6 combos of JJ, 6 combos of QQ, but only 3 of KK and 3 of AA.

Ok, I just assumed he was bad because of these stats, also he had an intelli poker avatar and his stack size. I would not stack this if he was 100BBs deep.

3betting 21%? The guy is a either a maniac or is running hotter than the sun preflop in the hands you observed.

you got to 4bet this always.

Oh I didn't realize 60 BBs deep, shove's fine now but sizing really doesn't even matter at this point because he's either felting or folding. I for some reason thought it was 100 BBs deep. Against a 23/20 we probably shouldn't fold AK 100 BBs deep, but only 60 deep you've gotta have a super-strong read to fold AK ever, let alone against a 23/20 who's probably 3-betting 3%+ (for reference, 2.6% is QQ+/AK, so anything bigger and either he's felting lighter or has some bluffs in his range, likely the latter).
