Villain is 32/14/2 over 375 hands. Standard open from BTN, I call flop with bottom pair, turn with trips, and river a straight. What do I do vs. villain's third barrel? Call? Raise small? Shove?

I like a raise for value, small on the river. But why no turn raise? It likely puts us ahead, and river cards will make it hard to get value for our hand. I guess being afraid of a set has its merits, but meht, these donk leads from bad players are a lot less scary than from good players.

Ticky spot, the stats smell of fish but being in the BB he/she could be holding anything here, im popping the turn folding to a re-raise or flat calling/checking the river. Villians range is to wide to be stacking here imo.

I'd shove the river there. I get so many calls from bad hands at the river at 25nl 6max it's getting called so more often than not it's been very profitable.

Depending on villian, Im probably popping this up on the flop. Even though we had some value with the gutshot, I think we take down the flop here a lot as he is "seeing where he is at" with the donk bet. If he 3bets us we probably have to lay it down w/o other reads but the value from the gutshot lost isnt too huge, especially since we wont be too confortable if we hit 2 pair.

I just call the river. I don't think he'd call a raise on the river with anything less than a straight. Mayyyybe he'd make a crying call of a min-raise if he had a big overpair or something. But he's not a very aggressive player post-flop and he did bet all three streets. His river bet looks somewhat weak, but I think small river bets are usually stronger than small flop or turn bets. On the river they are more often value bets begging for a call. So, I'd tend to put him on a strong hand.

Well, I shoved the river and he snap called with 88 as he rivered a boat.

In retrospect I think calling down would have been better. No way I get called by a hand I beat on that board.

I wouldnt shove, the chance of him holding a 7 (he's loose, could have any 2 cards) is too high... you've made a good pot but its now a scarey board...

If he has a 7 we're splitting so it's a bit irrelevant what i do.

The relevant question is: does he call with less than a straight often enough to make shoving profitable considering i'm beat by full houses.

Right, was focusing on yr set, missed yr 7 (and didnt read the title properly sry)... OK, icemonkey knows the numbers on that better than I (Im not a 6-man specialist), and he says it is a profitable move overall (donks will call w just about anything)... although I can believe that, I still think he must have had something to keep betting into you with the pair showing, and it wasnt likely an inside draw, so caution would again be my way on this... I guess I'm too conservative for 6 man 25/NL...
