Alright, Ive been looking through some of my HHs from my current downswing. Here was a strange had that was sticking in my head for awhile.

I remember villain was like 20/18/1 over ~20 hands when this hand happened.

I was 18/16/2.5 for the session

What do you think of my line here? Should I be raising this flop? Villain looked like a solid player over the 20 hands that I had seen and I figured there are no draws out there and a raise might scare out a Jx type hand and will just put more money into the pot if he happens to have a set. By the river I figure I am beating nothing but an absolute bluff. This was right in the middle of my 15 BI downswing so Im not sure if that was why I played this so passively.

Raise more PF.

Definitely raise flop. You have no idea where you stand when you just call down. As played on flop, I'd definitely raise the turn. As played on the turn, fold the river. This looks a lot like AJ/KJ, possible boat.

Did the raise button not pop up on the screen??!?!?

You should have RAISED on the flop and turn big time.

Preflop is fine since you want him to stick around but you gotta raise bigtime on the flop and turn.

Fold on the river in this case though.

Villain will typically not have a set here as most sets will check to the initial raiser expecting the initial raiser to make a continuation bet. Post flop you should have gotten aggressive to see where you are in the hand.

Also, you have only seen 20 hands so villains stats mean nothing. Actually more than nothing, they mean absolutely positively nothing. His stats might actually hurt your read at this point.

AA running into a set or two pair..it happens, it's poker, get aggressive and find out where you are.

Moondream was comitting himself to the pot with that bet.
Like the others said, I'd have raised to about $7.50 on the flop

At this point, if you call $9 you might as well shove for his last few bucks.

I'd say he has K/J though, so I'd fold.
