Please tell me what you think of my play here calling sizeable bets with the nut flush draw, gutshot straight draw, and overcards. I ended up with my whole stack in by the river. On the turn I believe I just about had the correct odds to call on the basis of my flush draw alone, but I'm wondering whether the flop call was a marginal one -- or whether perhaps I should have raised there, or 4-bet preflop.I've omitted the river card and action but of course I had to get my last 37 cents in regardless of what card fell, so it's irrelevant. The outcome of the hand is actually pretty interesting, but I'd like feedback before posting it.

I'd be interested in the specific math of odds on the flop and turn. I know the odds of making my flush, but what were my chances when the straight draw and overcards were figured in?

Just try to get this one in on the flop. Then you don't have to worry about what to do when u brick the turn.

It depends what we're putting the villian on. If we're giving villain for KK then we're still a 55% favourite . Even if the villian has a set we're a 32% underdog. I'd agree with BW, ship it on the flop. It's +ev in the long run.

Shove flop, you have two draws to the nuts and like 12 outs even if he has a set. As BW said by shoving you don't have to worry about what to do when you brick turn and you might get some hands that have decent equity against you to fold which is a great result.

I agree with riley its definitley a shove on the flop, if not a fold and depending on the read on the guy possibly even a fold preflop. By pushing you will definitely get him off his 1010-33 and even if he has you super out flopped you with a set you have a alot of redraw outs.

I really dont like your turn call tho, I think if your gonna just flat on the flop I am folding on the turn to a pot size bet

This ^^^. Shoving the flop also improves your odds by making your bet apply to 2 cards to come. Also, you could win the pot right there by getting him to fold. That PF min-3-bet looked pretty weak.

Alright, thanks. So the consensus is a shove on the flop. That makes sense in order to eliminate future decisions and give me fold equity as well.

The way I played it on the flop, though, I don't think I could have made a different decision on the turn. Even disregarding the straight draw and overcards, I was getting the odds to call with my flush draw alone, correct? I called $15.50 for the chance to win $29.05, odds of around 1.875 to 1, and I needed 1.86 to 1 to make a call mathematically correct.

Results of the hand:
I also bricked on the river and sadly called my last 37 cents into the large pot. To my amazement, however, the villian had K2o and had been bluffing the entire way, including the preflop 3-bet. I won the pot with A high -- to his great displeasure. :D

Would anyone have 4-bet this preflop? As Stick mentioned, his 3-bet looked weak.

Yeah I definitely try to get this in preflop most likely by just shoving if he's the spewy type. Calling in position isn't terrible either, but I do think we should just shove this flop as well.

As many outs as you had I would have shoved it in after the flop and went for it hoping for him to fold. Preflop I would have played about the same though.
