I think I totally screwed up my line on this hand, and I'm not sure what the best line is to get value from his whole range. Not a very exciting hand, but its these marginal situations which really benefit the most from playing smart IMO.

Do you guys go for 3 streets here against the bad player? We're kinda deep, so I'm a bit hesitant to make the pot big by leading the turn. Is c/c on the river better than b/f?

Fish is a 50/19/26%(1.5) over 88 hands.
Fold to c-bet = 38%

BB: $26.09 (104.4 bb)
Hero (CO): $48.44 (193.8 bb)
BTN: $49.10 (196.4 bb)
SB: $25.10 (100.4 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is CO with A

Hero raises to $1, BTN calls $1, SB folds, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($3.10) 3

I'd donk every street normally. B/f is better vs fish than c/c because they don't tend to bluff missed draws, or at least they don't bet big enough to extract anything out of them and by betting at least you don't have to deal with the retarded 1/3 pot control bets. And if they ever raise river or something you know you are never ahead coz they can't bluff raise rivers so you can safetly fold. Betting every street is just better imo because fish will call with alot wider range than they will bet/bluff with so by firing away you get the most from their range, which is probably rarely ahead on the river (cept JQ prob).

I think this guy probably probe bets the turn with most of his range after I check to him. And he's floating the flop with any pair, KT, KQ, QT for sure, and maybe some stuff like 24, 45. Not sure if firing the second barrel is the best move against his range. Kinda like to give him a shot to stab at it. That and it gives me some info on his range based on betsize & keeps the pot smaller.

I probably go with c/c or just try to get to showdown relatively cheaply. I really think seeing a fishes cards give me a great advantage over them. I see their cards, can look at how they played the hand, and can use that against them later. This really works because they usually play the most hands at the table as well. God knows they wont be analyzing my play and I will have the most information on the worst player.

Especially when I have no clear way of dividing up their range I don't like to bet out, unless I have some kind of information that tells me it is profitable to bet.

I like it. The turn is non-threatening and there aren't particularly any draws that you're afraid of, so checking and letting him take a stab at it is fine. When you donk the river, you're probably going to get looked up by a lot of hands that you can beat, and bluff raises are, in my experience, extremely rare on such a scary card, and certainly raises with decent hands that you beat (A9, etc.) are even more rare. I don't think he necessarily even raises hands that have you beat, like QJ, here.

So yeah.
