$25 PLO 6-max: Inside draw play aggressively

I'm a fish at PLO, so please shoot me down in flames. I need some fold equity to do this on the flop, but I guess i should have that most of the time, right?

I'd fold pre or squeeze. Playing OOP sucks in PLO. While this hand is decent it doesn't flop nutty draws that crush opponents as often as better structured hands. You want to have hands like 8765 vs. 765X hands on, say, 54X boards -- you want to freeroll people while not getting freerolled yourself. Granted the suited ace helps a lot. But while learning I'd just play extremely nitty from the blinds.

This probably works a huge amount of time and you have good equity vs. overpairs and even A4xx hands.

Really, you fold this pre? I have the feeling I'm already a huge nit compared to the tables.

No, I wouldn't, but I think you should. You're probably better off playing 80% from the BTN and 10% from the blinds than 40% from the button and 20% from the blinds at this point, especially considering that I'm confident you know how to use position aggressively.

Having thought about it I like 3-betting a lot, and then jamming any flop with spades or 2 cards below T.

that's an excessively good point.

Belgo, That is not the flop you want to be committing a ton of money in on.

You have 9 outs, not a lot in PLO. Secondly, the board is paired and the fact that the board is cordinated means that if you do hit your straight, someone is probably hitting a boat with the 4XXX. Reason being, ppl will more likely play with a 4 if it is connected to something.

Villain is obviously terrible, but after 6 hands we cannot do this. Also with only 9 outs to non nut type hands at best we have 36% and we never hit the turn and have worry free rivers. A lot of times, the hands that call your raise on the flop have you drawing dead.

Its closer to a fold tbh.

Also, the hand preflop is closer to fold than it is to squeeze but call is fine, If one of the spades was a club, it becomes a bit better and more squeezable. but I hate squeezing 4 ways OOP with marginal hands. Its like take my money.
