Hand 1, The open pre is very loose. Bet the flop. Fold the river.

Hand 2, Another loose open. I sigh and fold the river.

Hindsight I agree on both as I dont think players at this level are bluff shoving, although Hand 2 was pretty gross calling with Ace and flush draw then hitting 9 on river :(

I actually folded Hand 1 and called Hand 2.

I believe the first leg I would fold, try to check / call river. In the second hand I think you're ahead in most hands, then the to jam!

I'm a beginner in Omaha Hi, but I'm not a beginner in poker. Don't see it as an Omaha problem; I see it as a betting problem. I think you shouldn't bother yourself with questions "what should I have done", until you first thoroughly analyze ALL reasons for betting the way you bet.
I'll try to help you with some rhetorical questions:
Why did you check on flop? Why did you bet $3.04 on turn, why not $9.39?

Remember - you don't answer to me, you answer to yourself...

One more question: (this one isn't rhetorical)
What was your probability to buy a safe card on river?

Answer:
Less tha 30%. There was two semi-safe cards (2c, 2d) and only 11 safe ones (2 Aces, 3 Kings, 3 Queens and 3 Jacks).
