Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 17/15/2.5

I had been playing a bit more loose aggressively this session and floated a bit more than usual. Here I get 3 bet by the SB who is showing 8% 3bet from that position. This is going to fold a lot here to my 4 bet so for a change I decide to flat and keep in the weaker range. I don't ever remember flatting KK in a spot like this which is probably why I wasn't sure what to bet on the end.

poker stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players
SB: $25.09 (100.4 bb) ABC REG. 17/15. 8% 3 bet from SB 871 hands
BB: $25.85 (103.4 bb)
UTG+1: $27.90 (111.6 bb)
UTG+2: $25 (100 bb)
MP1: $25 (100 bb)
MP2: $25 (100 bb)
MP3: $26.85 (107.4 bb)
Hero (CO): $57.72 (230.9 bb) showing 27/17/3.5 101 hands 11% 3bet
BTN: $23.52 (94.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K K
5 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN folds, SB raises to $2.47, BB folds, Hero calls $1.72

Flop: ($5.19) J T 7 (2 players)
SB bets $2.48, Hero calls $2.48

Turn: ($10.15) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.84, (bigger?) SB calls $4.84

River: ($19.83) K (2 players)
SB checks,
Hero ??
Obviously helps beat any two pair combos but also hits AQ which is definitely around here, but would he have folded AQ on the turn. Perhaps the moral is just to 4 bet pre and keep it simple.

Raise the flop then if you've been playing LA. I don't mind a call, but if you made a small raise, you likely get shoved on. Yes, bet more on the turn so you can shove the river. As played shove river, but if you bet more on the turn, this would have been a much easier call for your opponent.

Pretty much that. Queens and aces on the turn make your life hell, and he'll probably semi-bluff shove on you some with stuff like AK if you've been a dick to villain.

Calling is okay, but if he sees you as aggressive and floaty, he'll check to you like he did here, thus limiting your ability to get all the money in ASAP. For me personally, I raise so many flops when I play, I can't really pass up a shot at raising with a legit hand.

I don't think this is the right conclusion to take out whatever the outcome of the hand was. As played we cannot check the river so betting is the right option no matter what.
Agree with "where was the LAG on the flop" question. A LAG is not supposed to slow play two kings on that flop.:p

I am always so confused by the logic. His question was what to bet on the river, but his secondary question was concern over a straight draw getting there, so why would the answer be to shove the river? I understand shove before the straight draw hits, but post straight draw hitting why would we shove? Isn't the only thing calling that a straight that hit? And bet more on the turn so it is an "easier" call for the opponent, I just can't wrap my brain around how that makes any sense.

Whenever your worried about your hand or can't stand a shove when we bet.

Why not just check behind? I don't think we are losing value with straight and flushes out there. We don't really miss much except some freakish hand and even that's hard.
....................................

If we do raise the flop guys what is the plan?

Brick turn we shove?

What if nasty cards come out like these where worse hands get out the way? and we face a flush or straight?
