Either a flopped set, or the nut flush draw that whiffed. The trick is figuring out how often you're going to be good on a call here...

Think you'll be good at least 38% of the time?

The K hits our perceived range pretty hard so I doubt villain would choose to bluff this turn. Also, after barreling twice on this board texture we almost always have Top Pair or better by the turn.

I think we can fold the turn pretty happily. AP though, once you call turn you have to call the blank river. I honestly think turn is best played Fold>Shove>Call

the most important/biggest misplay of this hand....

Why are we cbetting this flop?

Help me understand why I shouldn't cbet. That is one of the areas I believe I have a leak. Also thought I should check back turn. More importantly I should stop playing big pots against reasonable players. Pretty confused hand and I folded

I see no problem with the fold at this point, just based on what I see here. but...what kind of player do we have here?..my real problem is the initial raise pre-flop. If you have such a strong starting hand then why the low lead? Now, would I make the call here, my ego says yes..1 pair with no big pre-flop raise, no

CBetting this flop is bad for a magnitude of reasons.

-Most importantly is that it hits the villains preflop calling range

-It is 3 handed and all we have is 2 overs with no backdoor equity.

-No one is folding a pair on this flop and I highly doubt we are ever ahead

-We are OOP some of the times when we are called

-Our two overs have dirty outs

Probably more reasons if I thought more about it.

Now lets see reasons WHY we should CBet flop.

-???

Also, calling this turn to fold this river is pretty bad. Turn is a shove/fold spot most of the time because villain almost never has air on the turn so we need to shove for value vs his semi bluffs or fold because we are deducing that we are behind. I still don't think villain semi bluffs turn often because of what I said previously so I think we can fold.

this is a 100% Cbet situation flop
but, the reason is not here
yes true, unable to make the flop fold.

but the reason is Cbet - ready to fire a second barrel on turns.
most of his flop calling range is unable to continue after 2nd or 3rd barrel.

PS: this hand, easy and happy fold on turns.

He is either on a draw or has a set, all in his calling range. I dont see 2P here happening. BUT...

The stats you show, and considering you were UTG, his turn CR would make me wanna fold. Do you think he sees your range that wide from UTG to c/r you here with a worse K or a FD? I am folding here.

I agree that we should fold the turn.

Turn check/raises are rarely (semi-)bluffs, and that K hits our range so hard, that this means he's sure to have AK beat.

As played, however, once you call that turn, you really have to call that river.

I just don't think we're going to be good often enough to actually do it. Hence why the turn was a fold.

his line smells like a set. fold turn. he has 2 pair minimum. unless hes a bad aggro and plays KQ this way. but for the most part we are behind.
