What a horribly weird spot. Calling & raising both have merit. If we raise, villain will almost assuredly shove his stack in, and AK/A2 is certainly in their range. I probably raise here to like pot and call a shove, because full houses are hard to make. But I'm not sure I'll be fist pumping while doing it, because fish love slowplaying crap.

I think calling to get dead money from newbedford isn't a bad possibility as well. But given the likely fishyness, I think there's still tons of bare aces in his range.

Also, I think you can raise more preflop.
There's someone who posted out of turn in there, so at least make it 4x, you can even make it 5x.

I'd call, you're not going to get paid off I think with a worse hand, so the raise is just empty, if they fold you know you had it beat, call, you possibly have it beat you get to see their cards too (useful 20 hands in).

By the same token, I really don't like the AK call with a standard raise and 2 callers from the big blind, personally I'm squeezing all day from that spot even though I'm out of position, and without reads, I guess it was a killer for the villain to turn over AK, they played it horribly and got lucky hitting the full house imo. I guess this partly sucked you in, hard to take I guess, better luck next time :)

do you really have to ask???

even if you are beat here by one if i think 2 possible hands..A2 is out of the question...and AK is possible but i doubt it...at this level...i think a rerease preflop would have been in order with AK...Even still...you have to raise here...you shouldnt be at the table if you didnt go to it willing to lose the money you took to it...you have a boat...you have to raise...if you lose...so be it

gl to you
