Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 8/7/38

yeah, I have no clue what to do here.

200 hands or so on him..

does he check call an FD on the flop and then check 2 more streets to check raise the river?

its hard to believe he'd play the flush in such a way..

its a weird line to take with 55/44..

he could have KK/QQ/KQ but thinking he'd lead the river with those as well.

he has some bluffs as well, just they make no sense either.

I'm probably way off in my assumption, so what do you guys think?

Don't fold sets. Don't think, just call.

Interesting stats. Passive nit. I'd just call the river raise and hate if I lose

fold

he has QQ imo, c/c flop, went to c/r turn but you checked back now hes c/r river. An 8/7 is literally playing his cards so I would fold here.

lol-line to take with QQ, i'd never be able to fold here in game just because of how retarded that line is, not as profitable as just betting the river once the turn checks through for sure so call and if he has QQ laugh at him for burning money. It's hard to see what we beat when he does this though because nothing makes sense to play this way. Maybe KQ? i dunno its hard to put him on a range of hands because he's so tight and his range smashes this board, that and i dont expect him to ch/raise with something medium strength, which all of his hands are atleast, unless he's turning like JJ into a bluff which i doubt. I wonder if he's one of them terrible 8/7's who still overvalue AA here? Nah its just weird and maybe a fold but im too curious to fold, pay the nit!

This is very difficult because our hand is pretty ridiculous but I wouldn't recommend calling this river vs. an 8/7 with less than flush.

No idea what villain is playing with in this hand. Maybe KQs or AQ? Possibly 55 or 44? I would value bet AK, 55, 44, AA on both the flop and turn even with the possible flush draw on the turn. The river reraise is really weird but I think that our hand has good showdown value which is why I would call here.

8/7 likely opens neither of those hands from UTG at a FR table. This is a better set if we're beat.

I would say AJs is in his range, they are positionally unaware and play the same cards from each position so I doubt his positional %s change much

7% - 77+,ATs+,KQs,AQo+

More likely to be opening all pairs than AJs imo although I do agree his range probably doesn't change with position.
