Without reads I fold.
He's Limp called from early position which screams pocketpair.

Without a read we cannot presume he's gone ape shit with 88 so I'd presume he has a set and fold.

I agree, at this point you have to know there is a set lurking out there or someone hit their straight. Someone might also have the combo flush and straight draw. Slow played AA is also a possibility. I just wouldnt feel good about KK here...but, I am an idiot and I may call anyway.

Yeah, I hate to do it, but I fold here. Consider the $7.50 you threw in the pot as an investment for information.

Generally speaking, I hate getting in a NLHE and PLO ring game without getting a read on the opponents. where posssible, I would have liked to watch for a round or two to get a flavor for the table and some of the players.

What ended up happening? The best situation in which you would be ahead would be your hand vs. an under pair vs. a straight and/or flush draw, so I ran the following simulation:

1) Mp1 w/ 1010, CO w/As5s
http://www.propokertools.com/simulator/simulate.jsp?g=he&b=4s6s3d&d=&h1=KcKd&h2=TT&h3=As5s&h4=&h5=
KcKd 32.83%
TT 5.76%
As5s 61.41%

2) Also looked at AsKs and maybe top pair top kicker- a little better, but essentially a coinflip.
http://www.propokertools.com/simulator/simulate.jsp?g=he&b=4s6s3d&d=&h1=KcKd&h2=AsKs&h3=A6&h4=&h5=
KcKd 47.19%
AsKs 37.98%
A61 4.83%

In the latter case you are getting the right odds to call, but I think you have decent fold equity to warrant getting away from the hand.

I ended up folding, just wanted to bounce this off someone to make sure I wasn't being weak tight.

MP1 ended up having 43...
CO had As Ks

Turn was a spade, river was either a 4 or 3 to give MP1 a boat.

I've been running so bad lately, I wanted to make sure I wasn't being results oriented.

Wow, do those guys suck preflop. Is this kind of pf play common in 25nl fr (I mostly play 6max)? Did you buddy list them?

Yes it's common, assuming you table select somewhat. The deepstack tables are a lot nittier.

It's funny, I noticed last night that I had notes on about 3 people per table on average. Other than the one note that said "super nit set miner", all the other ones said "Total Station". Which is obv good, but also lend itself to higher variance and getting outdrawn, which has been happening to me lately a whole lot.
