did you have VPIP/PFR stats on him at all? cause that would help define his range some

if it's totally readless i just shrug and call cause i figure your average 25NL player is calling the raise and then 3bet with way too many hands they shouldnt be like small/mid pocket pairs, suited connectors, broadways. of course that includes some A-rag and crap too but you only have to be good around 30% of the time. you've checked twice, a lot of players are simply gonna take that as an invitation to bet regardless of what your range actually should be. also even if you're beat it can provide a decent read to see his hand

Even though a LOT of idiots slow play A K or A Q in a situation like this 1, what makes you think this situation is 1 of those. If he is only flat calling your 3-bet, wouldn't he be the 1 to put you on an A Q or A K type of range?

Just because sometimes those situations happen, doesn't necessarily mean that this is 1 of those situations. You don't like a bet on the flop here?

I call the river about 100.6% of the time. You've checked twice and your hand is underrepped even with the Ace on the board.

Readless I call. If they want to flat my 3-bets oop with A-rag and even when they hit only get a less than pot bet out of me that's fine with me. This play is absolutely unexploitable so I'm going to need reads to take an alternative line. Obviously we can fold if we have reads that this player is a nit postflop who checks a lot for pot control then we can fold here.

awesome thanks guys. I think also, me jumping back into 25nl and seeing a 7$ bet laugh if you want, was intimidating as well, especially just starting the session, ya know?

Try not to look at absolute $$ just think % of pot/stack and how often do I have to be good to make the call. You'll get comfortable at 25nl soon enough.
