Player3 posts small blind [$0.10 USD].
Player4 posts big blind [$0.25 USD].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Qc Qd ]
Hero raises [$0.75 USD]
Player6 raises [$2.10 USD]
Player7 folds
Player9 folds
Player1 folds
Player2 folds
Player3 calls [$2.00 USD]
Player4 folds
Hero calls [$1.35 USD] I am UTG the 3 bet by player 6 EP+1 looks really strong but tempered by his high 3 bet stat. I'm not overly concerned about the big fish in the SB in fact its good to have him along. I thought about 4 betting here for quite a while and decided to call mainly as I don't want to drive the fish away.
** Dealing Flop ** [ 6h, Qh, 2h ]
POT $6.55
Player3 checks
I can't give a single heart draw a free card here, I probably bet too small, any comments on best sizing here......
Hero bets [$3.13 USD]
Player6 calls [$3.13 USD]
Player3 folds
** Dealing Turn ** [ 8d ]
Pot $12.81
Ok so he called the flop so he may have a heart but all non heart high pairs are still calling here are they not to that sizing..
What is the correct sizing now, we have $20 behind?

Hero bets [$9.17 USD] it doesnt feel right betting this to just leave 11 bucks behind, quite frankly I was clueless how much to bet. I just wanted to properly charge a heart draw but the whole hand felt out of sync.
Player6 folds
Hero wins $9.17 USD
Hero wins $12.23 USD from main pot
Hero shows [Qc, Qd ]
In hindsight, bigger on the flop 5.50-6.00 would leave a pot size bet to shove on a decent turn card.

5.5 on the flop. Shove turn (which is a pot sized bet). Looks more drawy that way and he's not going anywhere if he has KK+, so bet sizing does not matter. The only thing you fold out is TT-JJ that you're probably not stacking any ways. This gives you the best chance to force those hands to make a hero call.

really easy check raise otf,.. likely c/r allin

you don't get any of the free money the 3 better is likely going to put in with a lot of hands that have to fold to you

i dont play those high levels, however what i am not sure if i had bet the flop instead of waiting to see what others had done

at the end one out of three times you would be ahead to any flush if turn or river gave you full or quads, so for me if both players check im still ok, because if the turn had brought another diamond then the pot had been still low to pay and see the river and the implied odds had been better

but if what i want to protect the hand against another diamond in the turn then my bet in the flop had been quite big, maybe pot or overbet,

between both ways i prefer to check

but then you reached the turn and indeed if you thought he had a draw flush the bet you made around 75% looks great, but it comes up a question to me, what if he had shove after you bet the turn?

maybe you could go allin in the turn, but well this is me and i dont play so high levels, actually i dont play cash only tourneys but i really enjoy hand analisys and the discussions around them

Yeah thanks John spot on... I came to the same conclusion myself. This hand took me out of my comfort zone as I rarely call 3 bets oop and it was 3 handed
It shows how much bet sizing matters. an informative hand
