SB checks,
Hero?
Is he looking to check raise me here, or has he simply missed his draws? safer to check behind or go for some thin value? Tough to read him here...

looks weak, I'd go for thin value.

Question is what hands would he call your value bet with. You will fold his weak hands, he may call with Jx but his 2 pair plus hands will raise.
There is a straight out there as well.May have been on a SD/FD with 8/Ts
Again it is also player dependent is he passive or aggressive, capable of a river check/raise bluff etc.
Personally checking back is our best option if we are uncertain.

Personally, I would check behind, but I'm kind of a wuss....lol. I think there may be very slight value there because I could see someone playing a hand like AJ, KJ, or QQ this way. Like you, I think that a missed draw is the most likely hand. Obviously if that is the case he won't be calling anything. HOWEVER, I can also see him playing this way with AA, a set, or 2 pair. 2 pair is probably unlikely given the preflop action, but a set is a real possibility here!! Given all the draws out there I would have lead out big on the turn with a set or AA. Overall, that small value is overshadowed by the small possibility of a check raise. I think checking here the best choice, but that's just me. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT.........good luck

well you've got half a PSB behind so you can't really be check raised here. I think if you don't bet you're missing plenty of value from Jx. 810 bets here so wouldn't be worried about that.

Shove, but villain will prolly fold. You'll be getting called down light since blind vs. blind, all the draws missed, Jx isn't folding when they're so committed.

Did you post this hand when you were drunk? Fess up. :)

You can't exactly get CR here and you don't have much left, so shoving is the best play in BvB spot when all the draws missed.

Hand result.

Villain had QQ.
I was spooked by his turn lead out and checked behind, some thin value lost on the end here.
