Right just looking at some hands ive marked a while ago, i guess what i was wondering was whether i should of bet a bit earlier in the hand like maybe on the turn? Do we think there is enough draws and weaker hands that i could value bet turn and river, or did i play it fine?

I would bet the flop to thin the field and make draws pay. A king isn't normally that scary with limpers. If I got called I would maybe check the turn and evaluate on the river whether we can get value

I would definitely say there is kings in these limp callers ranges, i didnt wanna bet the flop as i thought it was kind of a WA/WB situation? betting flop wouldnt let them bluff at the board, but i did give them free cards if they were on draws, still unsure of how to play this? Would anyone else be betting the flop in spots like this?

The only draws on the flop are QT and some broadway gutters so I think checking the flop vs 2 players is fine for pot control and a little deception. You can now get called down with Jx and some PPs or whatever draws connect on the turn. So bet the turn! If called re-evaluate on the river. Use yer position.

Thanks brank and others, i get what you're saying, dont wanna play a big pot with QQ here when i could easily be beat but i should of used my position to squeeze some more value out on the turn and river.

Yup, bet turn, especially since you have position.

There's definitely a chance that one of them holds a K or QT that you let draw by not betting the flop, but after they check twice I think a K is unlikely. After that, even if you get a call you are still ahead of a J or even a mid pair that doesn't believe that you have a K or maybe even a J since you didn't bet the flop. What I'm trying to say is that by checking the flop you may open their range for check/calling you.

Personally i bet the flop here but if you chose not to you definitely have to bet the turn.

Checking the flop is OK/standard on such a dry board, although you should bet K-high flops with most of your opening range.

Checking back turn is practically criminal, I'd bet at least $3 on turn and maybe another 1/2 pot size bet on river.

Thanks guys, i realise now that once ive checked the flop that when checked to in position on the turn i have to bet! Definitely lost value here.

And yeah im never betting the flop in this spot, but i would be betting any missed hands i raised etc, and any king hands that hit. Cheers all.

Yep, flop check is fine, and I vbet turn. River after vbetting turn is a decision as to who calls/reads on whos in.
