Pot control. I am not sure you are strong here. played good, I think check on the turn and call on the river is the a correct desicion.
Maybe he has Q, maybe A heart card and trying to make you in fold after he missed the flush.
You have a good chance to win here, but yes pot control is needed here.

In a 3-bet pot you can't really pot control. On the turn, pot is $13, and villain has a little more than that behind. He could just shove it in.

Also, in a 3-bet pot, your opponent will have less flush draws. Realistically the only hand you fell behind on the turn is QQ. Just get the money in.

I would just bet/call it off on this turn. I'm more worried about sets than flushes.

We're drawing live against sets and will be getting the right price to call if he jams and I think we can still get some thin value from some pairs.

As played, I'm not super comfortable to call this river because if the villain is value betting, we better hope he floated AQ on the flop a decent amount or we're behind a lot here because I don't see many players turning made hands into bluffs here often.

The problem with taking lines like this is that we often end up paying off bets later in hands because we get confused and think we may have induced bluffs when more often than not, we're just up against 2 pair+.
