Villains line is interesting to say the least.... Thoughts?

I should say this is Bovada and there are no real reads and I have less than 20 hands played against Villain(SB) His play has been quite standard in those 20 hands.

UTG(Hero) $39.38 Opens, $0.75
Folds to MP+ 1 Calls, $0.75
Folds to Button Calls, $0.75
SB Calls, $40.43 $0.75
BB Folds

3 callers, ew.

Flop ($3.25) 7h 10c 5h

SB Checks
Hero Bets $2.65
Folds to SB who calls $2.65

Pretty standard, Villain floats so I put him on flush draws, straight draws, 10x, overpairs, sets, overcards. Basically a lot of hands.

Turn ($8.55) 7h 10c 5h 4c

SB Bets $8.55
Hero Calls $8.55

Now I really have no idea and alarms are going off, did villain hit a straight? Better question is did he call from SB with 86? Float with 44 and hit a set? Float with 54 and hit 2 pair? Donk betting pot on the turn with a flopped set? Donk betting bet is just a strange way to bet any hand and I am quite confused. Would someone bet a strong hand this way?

River ($25.65) 7h 10c 5h 4c 4h

SB Bets $28.58 and is All In
Hero ??? I have $27.43 left behind at this point.

Now what is his range?? Straights and flushes are both completed but I highly doubt he would jam either of those, especially on a paired board so I remove them and what is left? 1010, 77, 55, 54, 44? Even with those combos the only hands I can MAYBE see played this way are 1010 and 44 but that would be an insane way to play quads or the 2nd nuts?

I'd give him credit and fold. In a win tunnel at these stakes, in a MW pot, I think you can give someone credit for a real hand here. Never fun folding AA though.

Maybe he thinks there's a decent chance you'll check behind if given the chance, plus if called, he has just over a pot-sized river shove left.

Fold likewise.
His hand is stronger than ours on the flop/turn.
Hard to fold but this is online poker.

I just posted a similar hand lol... yeah 77 and 55 are smack in his calling range, he doesn't need to bet you are doing it for him. Got to fold aces here.

Fair enough, I should of put this in the OP but does any of your views change if I said he snap bet pot on turn and snap shoved on river without pausing for a second? It seems like he did not think about his decision at all, about my hand or his.

I didn't say anyone's view should or shouldn't change. My point is simply that decisions should factor in all decently likely scenarios.

Should of clarified but that question was for all the replies, IDK why I quoted your post haha.

Anyway, I called and villain turned up K8o, I guess he potted when he turned a gut shot? Idk what he was doing really, I did consider that he was semi bluffing a flush draw but when the flush came in on the river I found his shove pretty unlikely on a paired board(if he had the flush). Was a strange hand and my thoughts at the table were as follows, he bet the turn repping a straight but I called anyway since it was a weird bet and 86 and 63 seemed like an unlikely holding for him to call with pre then when the river comes and he jams when the board pairs and a flush comes he obviously does not have a straight. So his line just did not really make sense and I felt like he would not of played a set this way. I tanked for the full minute and just could not make sense of his line except he was bluffing at scare cards and I called.

this is a snap call IMO - villain had a set you would have heard about it on the turn when you made that large bet. Players at this level just aren't smart enough to flat there with big hands - even though at higher levels a flat there SHOULD signal the alarms.

the river card is really really really good for you. Not only is their no 4's in opponents range, but any two pair that wanted to call down just got counterfeited

If your opponent actually had a hand why wouldn't they bet for value on the river? The overbet in that spot looks like the player is desperate for a fold.
