$25 NL HE Full Ring: AA, get donked into 3 streets

I just sat down at this table, no reads on villain. I find myself in these situations a lot, and get pretty lost.

When he leads into me on the flop, I don't raise because I don't want to get 3-bet by a monster, and if I'm ahead he's charged himself and I have position to re-evaluate the turn. Pot control with a one pair hand. How is this thinking?

On the turn, he donks such a weak bet, it feels more like a draw or weak king than a monster, and I pop him. He calls.

On the river, he now leads again, this time for like 1/8 pot. Any value in raising? Comments on all streets welcome.

Raise the flop.

The flop is drawy and i suspected a unknown will do this with a flushdraw,99-JJ,weak kings and possibly 88,33 so im raising that flop always since his range is so drawy and i whant to charge him.
After u call the flop im not sure if i like raising the turn, think about it what does the J change? Your basicly just repping KJ or a floped set (still doubtfull imo since sets usualy raise that flop to charge the FD).

As played to the river i have no idea whats the best line against a unknown is since i dont think im ever/often in this spot.
Im leaning towards calling thou.

Im very curious what some of the higher stakes players think of this hand.

i am raising the flop everytime

i like what you did on the turn, though a slightly larger raise would be my move

at this point i am shoving the river, his bet looks like a blocker

edit: i can see just calling the river, but i am not doing it

Yeah I think you have to raise the flop. Pot control is fair enough in some circumstances but I would think that is more in pots where we are either barely ahead of a big draw or could be behind a monster. Here, there is plenty of hands we want to get value from on that flop that are in villains range (KQ, KJ, TT, JJ, 99, couple of clubs e.e QJ, AJ) that we are ahead of and only a couple of monsters we are behind as he is very unlikely to flat with KK preflop. So his monster are 88 and 33 basically, not much compared to what we beat.

On the turn I dont mind a raise but it is weird after just flatting the flop, its basically turned into a slowplay with a hand we dont want to slowplay and it is a pretty bad turn. The lead is weak so a raise for value isnt bad but we are in a stinky spot to a 3-bet shove or raise.

By the river, yeah, the spades have got there but that seems unlikely. I think a raise for value gets called by KQ, TT, AJ of clubs or QJ of clubs and maybe 99 as well as KJ which has us beat and a horribly played set. Some random rubbish like a lone 8 or J that bet the flop and hit the turn and couldnt fold. The pot is big enough for us to just call and take it now. Actually, stack sizes are all weird so a raise on the river would commit us. I suppose a smallish raise to $7 or $8 on the river is fine for value and a call is ok too.

take control of the pot on the flop. it looks like the villian had AK to me. mabbe KK but if so thats poker. i think you allowed the villian to completely control this hand and this pot. he has bet on $1.75 into a $15.35 pot. i would put on the pressure and raise to $5 to $7 range and see how it plays out.

Wreaks of a inducing bet thats lookin for a RR on river. Flat call almost 100% and play the hand better on previous streets.
