Well maybe but since I can't know that there is a fish in the BB without you telling me...

Anyway that fish seems pretty aggro preflop so what would be your plan if the fish 3bets?

Exactly what I thought you'd say. So I say again, fold preflop even with the knowledge of the aggro fish in the blinds.

Also it's not a bad hand to 4bet shove if he's 3betting from the blinds often.

The guy in the Bb doesn't look like a fish at all but whatever.

I kinda want to check the flop, anyone with me?

The 'fish' is more like a bad lag, you're getting squeezed way too often to flat pf.

As played, flop is fine, and I often c/c turn. Barreling is going to narrow his calling range mostly to hands that beat us, plus he bets some worse hands when ch to that we should feel good about inducing vs (99/7x/worse FDs/floats). We also prevent ourselves from getting pushed off our hand vs a baluga.

Whats the best way to get this type of Fishes Stack????:D

I'd need more info on his postflop play, but in general you're going to be exploiting his wide opens in one way or another. Sitting to his right is going to be the worst approach.

You either have a guy who opens lots and gives up to 3bets/cbets and gives up vs flop raises/doesn't barrel turns, or you have a guy who tries to win every pot after opening, or somewhere in between. So either you widen your 3bet/flat pf/raise flop/float/bet turn ranges if he gives up too often, or you widen your value ranges vs him if he barrels too much or stacks too light pf.

I'd like to know myself opinions on this hand.

Aside from the fact should of definitely been a fold pre-flop.

I like the continuation bet, but so far from there considering the players stats you have to figure he either has your Ace dominated or pocket 7's. I suppose its possible for him to have a KQ of spades but unlikely.

Also one should clearly c-bet but where's your value there? What hands that you beat choose to play with you? Would a check-raise be a nifty play due to fold equity on top of 47% to improve the hand or no? (9 spades, 3 eights, 12 outs) I mean I figure he's not dumping his AK anyway, but maybe AJ, AQ.

Not sure if this was your thought process BGomez or if you were thinking c/c.

If not do you then play your 25% on the turn and shut down with a check?

So if he bets $3 or so into $5.11 your S.O.L?

That was somewhat my thought process and I wanted to c/c but cbetting is actually alot better.

Most people will call flop cbets with pocket pairs and it is somewhat possible he could have a flush draw.

I do agree that he probably doesn't have worse aces in his range though
