BB shoves his stack of $6.42 + $0.25 (his blind) making it $6.67 total

Both 3rd and 2nd position guys fold

I belive Pokerstove could tell you that if you know his range. Is he a pro shortstaker or a fish?

He was multitabling two tables and I haven't seen him too often. He's not a fish or a shortstacker. I guess he's more of a reg, but I wouldn't consider him a pro.

I don't know his range, that is what I want to find out.

Also I have to factor in the others' chance of overcalling/pushing all-in.

I'm folding here mainly because of the hands that are behind you, if any of them call you are probably crushed.
If it was just the BB you could choose to gamble especially if he is a fish but the best you can really hope for is a flip against two high cards. If he is a fish you might get it back.....
I prefer to get my money in with a little more reason to think I would be in front.

K thanks, how strong do you think my hand needs to be in order to call?

ok thanks, how strong do you think my hand needs to be in order to call?

Can't say without knowing the stats and tendencies of the shover and the callers...
You are really the only one who can answer that.... what do you think?

If I knew nothing about any of them, for me personally,,,, top 3% JJ+ AQs AK, but I'm fairly risk averse, as I said depends if you feel like gambling.

I agree with Figaroo. Under the current circumstances, this is an instant fold for me. middle pockets don't cut it when people shove their entire stack pre. I would need at least TT+ here to call, pocket pairs only.

Think of it this way, your pot odds are roughly 2.5:1 against you. ($6.42/$2.5)

He is all-in so you can't win any more behind. The hands you are ahead of here in most situations it is nearly a flip, maybe 60:40 favoring you, but in the hands you are behind, you are WAY behind. 88 vs any higher pocket pair and you are ~ 4.5:1 dog. Because of this, you should fold.

The only times I could see this being a profitable call is if Villain is a known fish or if he has just been going all-in frequently pre-flop

Calling here can be risky. The best option does seem making a fold considering we have multiple opponents to act behind us. If one of them smooth called a big hand we are likely to be in a fix and on the other hand we might already be way behind against the shoving villain.

Not a good situation to be in, mucking does seem like profitable play in the long run. :)

It depends on your read of villain.

But since you said you dont know much about him, I think the safest is simply muck (which is the majority above) and move on.
