Villain was something like 32/17...fold to cbet like 32%

In hindsight, it looks like I coulda made more by calling his raise on the flop and betting the turn. Do we ever do that here?

Of course... In lower stakes like that, it's better to let your opponent pay you off with a hand like that.

I personally would have just called, but last time I slow played a set another player caught a higher set on the turn. This board is pretty dry. I would have just called his raise here, then maybe check-raise the turn?

When he raises the flop he helps you to get the stacks in on later streets. Calling here is the best line then hopefully pick up another bet on the turn.

Unless you play this villain slot you don't need to merge your draws with your good made hands, ie you shove and he has you on a draw because you wouldn't do this with a set. Shania.

I like calling the 4$ raise and then c/r the turn.
His raise means it isnt gonna be to hard to get stacks in and the 3bet just look uber strong and we dont want to look uber strong against some on with a wide range like this guy.

Thanks for the replies. The more I think about it, the more obvious it is...

At $10NL and below, especially on bodog where I played most of my $10, KQ is stacking against me here erry time. I think I got to accustomed to that.

So, call and c/r the turn or bet first? I think I'd tend to bet out if no over cards fell and c/r any Q or lower?

I c/r every thing except A or K.
And if ace or king hits im betting 1/2 the pot.
Qx is gonna be a decent part of his range and Qx is gonna check back alot when a over hits but its isnt folding very often to a single half pot bet.
